It’s back to school time! Help us give back to our local school to provide extra supplies for students in need! Over the next 2 weeks, please bring new school items to the bin located in the lobby. We love being able to give back to our community!

When HWD member Armando told us his age, we were blown away! But he’s been consistent since day 1 and we understand that he’s made fitness a priority in his life.

🥊 BOXING SAVED MY LIFE! 🥊
How many times have you heard a World Champion say this after winning a big fight or a professional boxer say it during an interview? We hear it all the time!

Boxing is more than just fighting, it’s the opposite, it’s learning to become disciplined.

Right now current statistics show that 20 % of our children are being bullied or going through depression. That’s 1 child in every 5.

How can boxing help your child? They learn self control, they learn to have an outlet to release stress and aggression, they learn how to fight…. So they don’t have to fight. They learn to love themselves through fitness.

We’re proud of many programs at HWD, but this one is our favorite. The bullying stops here. We got your kids covered! Dm us for your free 1 week pass!!!

One of the big reasons people don’t ever start the gym is due to intimidation. People feel like the fit men and women will judge them. This is far from the truth. Walk into any of our gyms and you’ll see that everyone is here to help each other.

We take pride in that!

Did you fall off track? Here are a few tips from HWD Coach Nina to get back on track. ⬇️

#1 Set a schedule to train! The same way you make a dmv or doctors appointment, make appointments for your workouts.

#2 Weight train 3 x per week, the more muscle to build, the more energy your body needs to hold on to the muscles. Means your metabolism will burn more even when not working out.

#3- Start moving, there’s nothing like clearing your mind while you go for a walk. 8000 daily steps is the goal.

#4 - Meal prep for the week. The more you prepared you are, the better you’ll do.

Transformation Tuesday! I ran into Rozemarie a few months ago at a restaurant in HB, she’s still into fitness, still working hard and that makes me genuinely smile.

You see, every Transformation has a story. There’s a human element behind what we do. We go through our ups and downs, we teach the athletes to balance life with fitness. Rozemarie was an exceptional client and just got the job done!

The end result is always magical! Remember, you’re not destined to be overweight. You’re not destined to be the chubby friend. You’re destined for so much more! Work hard & reach your goals!
