South Sunrise Little League

Mandatory player evaluations will take place this THIS SATURDAY, January 10 at McPherson fields. We require all baseball division players league-ages 7-12 (even if you are a returning player or signed up for Rookie) to be in attendance to ensure the managers are able to draft fair teams and players get selected to appropriate divisions. There will not be make-up date, so find a way to attend. Every player will make a team. Tryouts are for evaluation purposes only.

T-Ball division does not have tryouts, but we encourage t-ball players to come any time Saturday between 8am-1pm for uniform fitting.

Please note: Players will try out as a group for the entire timeslot rather than one player at a time. That said, you need to arrive to arrive at least 30 minutes before your tryout time to check-in and warm-up. We will start promptly at the tryout time so please do not be late. Plan on the entire tryout lasting at least 60-90 minutes.

Since managers are evaluating specific age groups, you must try out with your age group. Early and late tryouts with other age groups will not be allowed. The schedule is as follows and is subject to change:

For the second consecutive year, our AAA All Star team takes home a District 30 banner! Our Gold team finished the Pool Play All Star tournament with a 6-0 record, defeating Villa Park LL 5-0 in the Championship game! Congrats boys!

For the second year in row, our AAA All-Star team is playing in the District 30 All-Star Pool Play Tournament Championship. Our AAA Gold team faces off against Villa Park Little League TONIGHT, 5pm at Northeast Santa Ana Little League. Come out to support our boys as they defend their 2024 championship!

Also, congratulations to our AAA Silver team for advancing to the tournament semi-finals! They finished top four out of 17 teams.

For the second year in a row, South Sunrise Little League has taken home the District 30 Tournament of Champions banner for the AAA Division! Our AAA Aztecs defeated our AAA Frogs 3-0 in the Championship Game Wednesday night.

Congratulations to both teams for their fantastic seasons and way to dominate the field and represent South Sunrise in the District 30 finals!

For the second year in a row, South Sunrise Little League will bring home the AAA division California District 30 Tournament of Champions banner! Our AAA Frogs will play our AAA Aztecs in the Championship Game tonight, 5:15pm at Crescent Elementary School in Anaheim.

TOC is an annual tournament with the top Little League teams in District 30. The Aztecs beat the NSLL Angels, VPLL Diamondbacks and TWLL Padres and the Frogs beat the AHLL Angels, TWLL Braves and TWLL Pirates on their way to the finals.

It should be a fun night as we get to see SSLL bring home another banner to the League of Champions!

Congratulations to our first ever President’s Cup Trophy winners - The 2025 Major Irish! The Irish defeated the Vols and then the Bruins to win this rad trophy. Thank you to for his expert craftsmanship in making the trophy!!! Here’s to a new tradition at South Sunrise!!
