Y’all please send me your current email addresses so I can send out the renewal email this weekend. Text is fine.
Once that is sent to y’all I’ll set a meeting time for y’all to meet up and renew. Will most likely be after Easter weekend when we meet with y’all. There is only a $25 per member increase from last year.

Ok yall, I know a few of yall have ask. We have not received the invoice yet for the 2026-2027 year. I was told that the we could see a slight increase due to insurance premiums and possibly an increase on the cost per acre but that it won’t be a large increase at all. Once I have the information, I’ll begin collecting dues. Be sure I have all your email addresses so I can send the info once I receive it. We will have to obviously extend the due date since the timber company hasn’t given me the exact amount yet. I should hear from the timber company this week so they say.

Alright members, who is coming for supper tonight? It will be ready at 6pm but come early and visit if you want to.
Tomorrow night it will be ready as soon as we get back from the evening hunt.
Remember the specified quiet time for hunting tomorrow still stands so evening hunt will be longer. Then the time change happens tomorrow night.

Alright members, we know the Friday night before opening of rifle season is Halloween so with that said, how many of y’all would want to keep up the tradition of our opening weekend meal we fix for all our members?
It’s our 20th year to have the lease and we would love to keep up the tradition of getting all of you together that Friday and Saturday night.
So give me a RSVP by next Friday ( for grocery list) as to how many with your family will be here to we don’t overcook.
Also if you see new members, make them aware we have this page so they can keep up too please.

Members, if you check the Texas Parks and Wildlife most current hunting season rules for Orange County, you will see that early youth season has included Friday, Oct 24 as opening day for the youth. I’ve checked with the local game wardens office and Captain Hall verified that this is correct.
So according to that the youth weekend is Oct 24-26 this year, as per their website.

The designated hunting times for the deer lease apply to bow season as well as gun season. Show respect to our bow hunters.
Also DO NOT be in any area that isn’t yours unless you must pass another members area to get back and forth to yours. Cameras are getting the images and we are being called about these things.
