Fishing season is about here. We got the boat out and dusted her off. But with the crazy fuel prices we will have to see if we are going after the big ones, or staying close for the coastal stuff this season. I have talked with a few freinds that indulge in the sport and all have talked about the concern over the fuel prices. They said they are looking at possibly doing the cattle call boats for ...the island trips and use their boats for th local stuff. They guys that have gone to the island have had pretty good luck on the bigger rock fish. I also saw that a nice White Seabass was caught off Newport. I was up at Irvine lake a few weeks ago and they had some nice trout caught in the tournament. Have a great time on the rail and check out our new design from "Don Rock"! The Ocean Inked "Tanked Bait" design came up at one of our over night trips to the island and a few beers later. We thought this is probably how the bait felt after the run over there!..
