Annual Big Bear unmarked 3D hosted by Dusty Wagner is in the books. Archery Republic shooters finished a strong 1, 2, and 4th place in adult male compound non sight division (aka barebow compound). It was hot and dusty, but always a fun time with a great club hosting. Until next year!

California Bowmen Hunters/State Archery Association state field championship is in the books. I had a fun time getting a couple of the kids to come out and shoot today. Now time to wait and see the final scores roll in. Thanks to Oranco Bowmen Archery Club for hosting today.

Happy Fathers Day! I had a fun shoot Oranco Bowmen Archery Club with annual firecracker unmarked 3D shoot. Had a fun time with group with normal banter and overall fun. It was a good way to spend the day.

Got to try out a new bow set up with longer limbs and a 5 string configuration. I noticed a lot less problems with left and right torque issues, and lower overall mass weight. With the new limb design it is giving a very forgiving 46" axle to axle. I am liking it. I will try it again next weekend for state field.

After yesterday's score I did not expect this..... special thanks to for pushing me hard today. It came down to the very last target. put on a good shoot this weekend and thanks to .saa.big.game.club for the great buckles this year.

Time to get some broadhead practice for annual state broadhead championship. Got to swing by and work on some last minute bow adjustments.
