The day his season ended, he came in to lock in, and two months later the work speaks for itself. He’s young, he’s hungry, and he already gets that the gains come in the time most guys take off.

Late arm at front foot strike is one of the most common timing issues we see, and it leads to missed spots and extra stress on the arm. Here are our top 3 drills to clean it up.
Walking Figure 8s
The continuous figure 8 keeps the arm moving and connected so it never stabs or gets stuck behind you. That nonstop rhythm trains the arm to flow up to launch on time instead of lagging behind the body.
Glove Tap Scap Throws
Tapping the glove syncs your front side and back side while the scap throw teaches the arm to load and lay back the right way. Together they groove an on-time, connected launch position instead of a late one.
Walking Wind Ups with Glove Tap
Adding momentum forces the arm to keep pace with a moving body, which is exactly where late arm tends to show up. The glove tap keeps both arms equal and opposite so everything gets to foot strike together.
Fix the timing and the stuff plays up.

Robert Hernandez might be one of the best turnarounds we’ve had.
He came to us with his arm out of shape and still working back from injury, sitting in the low 80s. He put his head down, outworked just about everybody in the building, and look where he is now. A year later he sits 91 and touches 92.

Noah Irwin is one of the hardest workers we’ve had come through Ethix, and the past year is the proof.
He grinded all year and then took it up another level this summer. What sets him apart is that he never had to be told. He knew exactly what he needed to do, day in and day out, and he did it.
