The Gems brought home the championship at the Kalahari Cup in Sandusky this weekend!

Winning all 4 of their games, perhaps most impressive was the 22:1 goal differential for the tournament.

All of the ladies played flawlessly and showed exemplary teamwork through the entire weekend. Special shout out to Julianna who scored a hat trick, Morgan G. who earned herself a puppy with a header goal, and Mackenzie who had an amazing weekend in net.

The girls had a great weekend as they traveled to Lancaster, PA, winning the Coppa Classic for the 3rd year in a row. The entire weekend can be summed up in one word: “teamwork!” From the back line to the front line, every girl contributed this weekend, moving the ball flawlessly like pros. With an overall goal differential for the weekend of 8:1, the girls went 2-0-1 on the weekend. In our two very impressive wins, our defense and goalie gave up only a total of 5 shots, earning two shut outs while the attackers and midfielders put up a total of 35 shots for 7 goals! Way to go, Gems.

The Gems spent back to back weekends in Rochester, NY.

Last weekend was the Lakefront Classic Showcase. The Gems jumped to 3-0 in the tournament to earn their way into the final match. After battling through hot and humid weather, they ultimately settled for 2nd place in a hard fought match against a talented RNY squad.

This past weekend was the Greece Cobras Summer Classic. Playing with only 2 subs throughout the weekend, the girls persevered and earned themselves the championship game win in commanding fashion. Showing great ball skills and awareness, Parker earned a hat trick in the championship match.

For the 3rd year in a row, the 2012 Gems won the championship at the AIM Cup. This past weekend, our ladies put on an impressive show of exemplary passing through all 4 games, allowing only 1 goal against them all weekend. Wonderful work ladies and coaches in securing the three-peat!

In a competitive showing, the u13 Gems made their international debut at the Toronto Super Cup this weekend. Through their 3 matches, the girls definitely demonstrated their intensity on the pitch, with Ava earning herself an impressive hat trick in one of them!

The 2012 Gems Elite have had a busy couple of weekends! Last week, they headed out to the country this weekend to play in the Challenger Invitational in Lancaster, PA. The girls played some of the best 11v11 u13 soccer we’ve seen, beating a team ranked 35 in the country in a commanding fashion.

This weekend some of our ladies found the time between practices to volunteer to help the club with field setup day.

Competing in the top u14 division as a u13 team, the Gems Elite started their spring season strong in Oneonta this weekend. Battling difficult weather conditions, the girls persevered to go 2-0-2. What a great start to what will surely be an eventful season.

"The goal is to expose them to the best soccer in the world and give them the tools to succeed here in the States," said Al Franjoine, Co-President of Orchard Park Soccer Club.

It was a beautiful weather weekend for soccer in Virginia. Though the outcome wasn’t what we hoped in their first two games, the Gems persevered to win through a dominate showing in their third game. We are looking forward to what will surely be an exciting indoor winter season. Go Gems!

It was a beautiful weekend for soccer in Hershey, with the Gems going 4-0. The Gems outshot their opponents 27-4 and completed 200 passes in their final game, which is a Gems record. Our ladies went on to win the final with a score of 3-1 to earn the Coppa Cup championship for the second year in a row. Congratulations girls and coaches! And Go Bills!!❤️💙
