This wonderful team from Ireland trained out of our gym this week. This is a very good crop of young athletes and part of an organization called Bridges Beyond Boxing. The latter sends young boxers to the United States for competition and they live with an American host family while they prepare to compete. It is so much more than just boxing. The experience connects Irish athletes and coaches to their American counterparts & new friendships and memories are made to last a lifetime. In 2025, my daughter Delaney was part of the first American team to compete and forge new connections in Ireland. It was a rich experience. The Irish people and their country are magical but I may have a bias.

They will be competing at Riverworks tonight at 7pm against excellent young boxers from around New York state and WNY. ☮️☘️🥊
