Throughout the years our program has tried to make an impact within our community by raising funds for various organizations. Orchard Park Cheer hosts over 45 teams at the annual Quaker Cheer Challenge Competition. Each varsity cheerleader volunteers their time to run the event so that it is a success each year. This year we have decided to donate a portion of the funds that we raised to a foundation that hits so close to home. Kaely’s kindness is an organization that was started by Kaely, an OP Cheer alumni. We are proud to select Kaely’s Kindness because it means so much to our program to be able to give to teen girls living with cancer. We realize that not all teenage girls have the luxury to have the everyday stress of cheerleading practice or where to applying to college. So on behalf of the Orchard Park Cheerleading program, I present Kaely with a check for $500 in the hopes that the girls can use it to do something to take their minds off of their everyday stress.
