Classes are taught in an open enrollment environment, so you can join anytime!

Well, I hadn’t really planned on making any kind of public announcement, and most already know, but I find myself in my feelings a bit tonight.
Today was the last day of my lease at OPMA and I’ve decided not to continue. It was a difficult decision but it was the right one for my life at the moment.
I’m not going to get mushy and long winded, and there’s way too many people to mention by name, but I just wanted to say thank you all for 8 amazing years here. I hope, more than anything, that everyone who spent time here, valued it as much as I’ve valued having all of you. It was an incredible experience that I will have with me for the rest of my life. Thank you all🗻

Hey everyone. Just as an fyi, we are on our normal schedule tonight (Tuesday August 2). No changes have been officially made to the kids classes yet! So, we’ll see you all at normal time today🗻

Today, out at MSD Kenpo in Tonawanda, was one of the first area open tournaments since the pandemic started! We only had one competitor from OPMA this time around, Emma, but she got 1st place in weapons forms by doing Tokumine no Kun! Congratulations, “Beast”!! Hard work pays off!

We had a super fun kids birthday party for Griffin today at the dojo! It’s been a little while since we’ve had one, but it was a lot of fun to get back to it! FYI - kid’s karate birthday parties are FREE for our students, but anyone can have one here! Call for more info! (716)544-2165

Next Tuesday, December 21st is the kid’s Christmas class! Kids should wear pajamas and bring a gift to exchange (we’ll draw names at the party). Brothers and sisters of students are more than welcome to participate!
