“Dear friends, we made it to Oklahoma, but the trip started out really rough. Just a couple of hours in, we broke down in the heat—the water pump went out. The ponies had a couple rough days Thanks to you all and the great advise we were able to get the fire department to bring water for the horses .We were stranded for days, sleeping in the U-Haul, waiting for parts. My sister Trina and Ed thank God, came through without hesitation—she got to us right away and brought the parts we needed and they worked half way through the night.I hadn’t updated in the last few days because, on the home stretch,The driver of my truck and horse trailer were in a wreck thankfully only miner injuries to him but my truck and trailer were totaled , the ponies were fine—they were being pulled by me with the U-Haul. Sadly this happened so many hours away from my daughters the truck and trailer Is still on the side of the road near Vega Texas with everything I own it it and I’m trying to figure out how to get back to it and get it here I pray the arrangements my daughter has made with a friend of here’s will come through he can’t do it till the weekend and the officers said we only have 72 hours and they will tow everything I own away and I loose it all .Now that we’re here, I have no vehicle or trailer, so all the plans have changed. Everything has turned into a mess trying to figure out how to retrieving my stuff has put a stress on my health and my family. I can’t thank you all enough for the love and support—you’re all carrying me through.”
