Country Classic 2026

Another incredible week for our horses and riders, thank you to Team NW Equestrian Sports for giving us such a beautiful facility to show at!

🏆 Midas Touch and Marijo came home Reserve Champion in the 2’ with lots of blue to follow into the 2’3!

🏅 Lily and Ballingowan Figaro rode in the 2’3 and 2’6 hunters and even picked up some ribbons as well as laid down some very pretty rounds for this pairs first rated show together!!!

🎖️ Olivia and Chuppa Chups 19* were quick all week in the .90’s and 1.00m jumpers and 2nd in the .90 Jumper Medal on Saturday!

👑 Olivia and her other mount, Kilkenny Friday competed in the 3’ Hunters and 15-17 Age Eq and were top three in most of their classes. This pair also picked up 5th out of a group of pros for the 3’ Hunter Classic on Sunday!

🌟 Ella and Kenny Chestnut were shining in the 2’ and 2’3 Hunters all week and enjoying ring-side pep talks!

⚜️ Marijo and Never Look Back WF spent the week in the .90 Jumpers and were FAST! Picking up ribbons on the pro card

ONE stall opening up for a rider and horse that wants to join our show team!

Selah Farms is thrilled to have the opportunity of a stall opening up this July for a rider that is looking to have weekly lessons, and attend shows with a dedicated and tight-knit crew.

At our facility, the beautiful and scenic Bakers Ferry Equine, we offer all day, mud-free turnout on grass or dirt paddocks, tons of fun trails, two great arenas, a client tack room, washracks, large stalls (some with runs included), round pens, and more! Horses are fed hay all throughout the day to keep their tummies happy and moving. We have access to some wonderful farriers, chiropractors, and vets that visit often. We have staff on site around the clock who are exceptionally welcoming and willing to help keep your horse healthy and safe.

Head Trainer, Marijo Terleski has been around horses her whole life. starting on the racetrack at a young age all the way to now where she runs her own successful hunter/jumper program out of Oregon City. Marijo has a gentle but forward approach to teaching and focuses not only on the rider but what is best for the horse. Daily pro rides, ground, flag, and halter work. At Selah Farms, we believe in fundamentals. We attend a series of clinics to make sure that learning isn’t just coming from one voice but from all sorts of different disciplines and perspectives. Marijo makes note to have her riders educated on the ground and on the horse, providing a very ‘horse-forward’ environment.

At shows we have hard-working grooms to ensure that our horses have the best care at all times, even on the go, and that all their gear can be safely stored away. Marijo is always present for ringside assistance, help schooling before classes, and training 24/7. Our show team is a very welcoming and committed group and we would love to have one more to join our family!

Bedrock Season Opener was a clean sweep for Olivia & Co. !!!

After a week at Wilsonville we turned right back around for the first Bedrock of the season, and to say that it was exciting was an understatement.
Taking a look at placings, Olivia was champion in every division she competed in with all three of her horses!

What a great weekend, even splashing in the puddles on Sunday, there was still fun to be had. Our horses are now at home getting some R&R before heading back in two weeks for Bedrock Midsummer!

Early Summer Classic was a blast!

Between the ring-side chats and Father’s day leadline, this might’ve been one of our best Wilsonville’s yet!

Kenny Chestnut and Ella Hall stepped up to the 2’6 hunters after starting the week out in the 2’ and there was so much progress to be seen from this pair as the week went on.

Kilkenny Friday and Olivia Hall had some majorly successful rounds in the 3’ Hunters and Equitation as well as gave a good try in the National Derby in the 90 degree heat!

Olivia and her other mount, Chuppa Chups rode in the .90’s all week and improved more every day! This is a new pair and we love to see them progressing so quickly!

Midas Touch and Marijo had some beautiful rounds in the 2’ Hunters and caught attention from multiple different photographers, modeling debut coming soon!

Never Look Back and Marijo had fun in the .90’s picking up some ribbons and jumping every fence at least 3 inches larger than it actually was.

Super good time surrounded by great horses and people, we can’t wait to be back in july!

Less than a week and we are back at it!

So excited to get our horses moved into Early Summer Classic on Monday! 💙🤍

Keep an eye out for Marijo and Lele in the jumper ring along with Olivia and her new partnership, Chuppa!
Little Sonny will also be tagging along for his first ever rated show in the hunter ring, Olivia + Friday and Ella + Kenny can also be spotted over in hunterland throughout the week!
