Field of Hearts: Addie’s Mission
On July 20, 2025, Addie was doing what she loved most, playing softball. During a tournament in Helena, Montana, she hit a triple and dove into third base. As she stood to dust herself off, the unthinkable happened, she collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest.
For six long minutes, her teammates, coaches, and bystanders fought for her life. Thanks to their quick action, performing CPR and using an AED, Addie’s life was saved. She was first taken to a hospital and later life-flighted to another facility, where she spent days in the ICU surrounded by doctors, nurses, and loved ones.
Addie had no prior history of heart issues, and even after extensive testing, no genetic or structural cause was found. Her story is one of mystery but even more, one of miracle and determination.
Today, Addie is back on the field she loves, stronger and more determined than ever. She plays with gratitude, knowing every game and every heartbeat is a gift. She now carries a new mission: to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest, CPR, and the critical importance of AEDs being accessible to bystanders in outdoor recreation spaces.

You're showing them what unconditional support looks like. That success isn't measured in wins and losses, but in effort and heart.

You're not just watching baseball. You're building their confidence, their security, their understanding of what it means to be loved without condition.

They'll remember you were there—for the strikeouts and the home runs, the championships and the blowouts, the moments when they needed someone to believe in them most.

Because what you're doing isn't small. It's everything.

You're not babysitting. You're not just filling time. You're creating the memories they'll carry forever and the foundation they'll build their lives on.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for staying. Thank you for making them feel like the most important player in the world—because to you, they are.

We went 2-1 today and the girls absolutely crushed it! They played their hearts out, hustled every inning, and showed what teamwork really looks like! 💪

So sad to see our fall season come to an end, but what a fun ride it’s been! So many laughs, memories, and moments we’ll never forget. Already counting down the days until we’re back out there again! 💫💜
