Jack Satterfield makes it to the Boys18 and under semi-finals at the Easter Bowl Championships in Palm Desert. He had to retire in the semis against his doubles partner, Ronit Karki. Last night they teamed up to fight back from 5-0 down in the third set to win the 2024 Easter Bowl 18U doubles, a Level 1 event. Another gold ball for Jack and his partner. Congrats to these two and all the kids from Sleepy Hollow who continue to play USTA Team Tennis or USTA sanctioned junior tournaments.

It takes a team to host a tournament. The following contributed to the success over the weekend of our 2023 USPTA Junior Tournament:
- Victoria for the healthy kids snacks
- Beth for the fantastic sandwiches, fruit salad, drinks and treats for the hard working tournament team.
- Heather - for always stepping up to help in any way
- Jesse for setting up the stuff (tables, chairs and popups) we need to have a good tournament
The most amazing high school players and summer coaches who are very capable in all duties around the tournament desk.
Ava
Caitlin
Anna
Shayne
Blake
And of course our pros who took time off from their weekend to help monitor the courts and see the tournament runs smoothly. Alex Pryshchepa and Xavier Manalo.
Over 200 people viewed the matches on Saturday, one of the hottest days of the year! The players toughed it out, playing two matches a day.
A deep appreciation for all your efforts. Can't be more proud.

Nice trip to the USTA National Boys 18 & 16's Championships. Jack came in as the 4th seed and made it to the round of 64. Very crafty opponent made it a very tough match but ended up on the trailing side of a 3 setter.
Came back in the doubles and knocked off the second seeds, Jagger Leach & Joseph Oyebog in the round of 16, eventually losing in the quarters with his partner Nate Germino. Congrats on a great summer.Joseph Oyebog.
