If you’ve been looking for a steadier way to begin the week — this is your invitation.
Every Monday night, I hold a small in-person meditation class in Lafayette, CA. It’s Buddhist-based, but open to every path and belief system. You don’t need experience. Or you can have decades of experience. You don’t need to have it together. You just need to show up.
Here’s what we do: a short dharma talk (a Buddhist lesson), guided & silent seated meditations, and time in community. That’s it. No performance. No pressure to feel a certain way or come with a particular intention. A space to slow down, come back to yourself, and learn how to live in a more peaceful, joyful, and steady state no matter what the world is telling us.
What keeps people coming back isn’t the technique — it’s the feeling of being in a room full of people who are also choosing, quietly and consistently, to know themselves better. There’s something that happens in that kind of community that you can’t replicate on your own.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, or just a general sense that something is off — this space is here to meet you where you are.

Many of us are feeling the impact of what’s happening in the world right now.
Fear comes up.
Confusion comes up.
Grief comes up.
Helplessness comes up.
The question is not how to eliminate these emotions.
The question is:
Can we fold them into Presence?
Rainbows form when sunlight bends, reflects, and disperses through rain.
Storm + light.
To see one, the sun must be behind you.
Sometimes peace is like that.
It requires turning toward what is steady.
The natural world.
A cup of tea.
A familiar chair.
Trusted community.
Awareness itself is not at war.
History is not only violence — it is also resilience.
Compassion has always existed alongside conflict.
We practice abiding in what is reliable —
so that we can love clearly, act wisely, and keep the aperture open.
There is a place in you that has never been at war.
Tonight, we return there.

This morning I was listening to horrific news of war.
My body tightened. My breath shortened.
And then I saw a rainbow in my rearview mirror.
Dense clouds. Dark sky.
And there it was — light refracted through rain.
A rainbow only appears when storm and sunlight coexist.
Presence is like that.
It does not deny grief.
It does not pretend the world is not breaking.
It does not rush to fix what is not ours to fix.
It widens.
If you are feeling anxiety, anger, sadness, confusion — you are not alone.
War does not just happen “over there.”
It lands in our bodies.
And yet:
The earth is not at war.
The seasons continue.
Breath continues.
We cannot control the unfolding of nations.
But we can refuse to let fear colonize our inner world.
There is a place in you that has never been at war.
Abide there.
Not to escape the world —but to meet it without becoming another battlefield.
🌈 Under the same vast, unbroken arc.

Nothing speaks louder than real transformation 🦋✨
Helping leaders grow from the inside out is the heart of this work. When self-awareness deepens, everything shifts; decisions, confidence, impact.
So grateful for the trust my clients place in me 💛

I didn’t find “the one.”
I became the one.
I dated myself. I got engaged to myself. And yes… I married myself.
Not because I gave up on love — but because I finally understood that the most important relationship I will ever have is the one I have with me.
Learning how to sit with myself, choose myself, honor my needs, and love myself fully changed everything. The difference wasn’t out there waiting for someone else to fill a gap.
The difference was inside me. 🤍

So grateful to connect with these incredible young women in HOSA (Future Health Professionals), a student-led organization shaping the next generation of health leaders.
We talked about something close to my heart: navigating anxiety during a time when mental health wasn’t openly talked about. Back then, so many of us struggled quietly. Today, this generation is leading with awareness, compassion, and the courage to start the conversations we didn’t know how to have.
That’s leadership. 💛
Follow and check the link in their bio to listen to our full conversation.

When we slow down, we create space;
to respond with intention,
to lead with clarity,
to act from wisdom instead of habit ✨

Peace isn’t an idea.
It’s a practice.
This 2,300-mile Walk for Peace moved me deeply. Buddhist monks walking across America as an offering of healing, metta (lovingkindness) and karuna (compassion).
This is the Dharma in motion.
Walking meditation as service.
Inner practice made visible.
If you want to join them today, try this:
take a 5-minute silent walk.
Step by step, repeat:
May all beings be safe.
May all beings be free 🙏🏽✨🤍
