Had an excellent game but struggled to adjust to the changing speed of the ice and fell behind. Our next game is against Fountain/Kot in just under an hour starting at 12:30 CT (1:30 PM ET) on sheet 5.

Just got the draw schedule for the Madison Curling Club's Madtown Doubledown this weekend! Our first match is against the Australian Olympic Team Gill/Hewitt. According to our initial comparison (below), we have a number of advantages going into the game!
Winner plays at 2:15 PM on Sheet 5 and loser plays at 12:30 PM on Sheet 6.

The bonspiel didn’t go quite our way and we ended up eliminated on the 2nd day. Overall a wonderful experience and we’re proud of our performance (especially given we’ve both been curling less than one year). A few things to work on and next weekend we’re up in Wisconsin for the Madtown Doubledown. For now, we’re just enjoying a night out in Charlotte!

Lost our first match in a very close game against a very experienced junior team (the scoreboard doesn’t reflect just how close it was). Overall a very positive result (especially given that this was Mallory’s first time on dedicated ice!) and we’re feeling good going into the second game at 8:15 PM ET tonight.
