On Saturday Ogilvie Traveling Baseball Association hosted a baseball/softball clinic at Ogilvie High School. The Twins Community Fund Program came and guided over a 100 registered participants through the fundamentals of baseball and softball and overall created a fun environment to promote the love of the game. It was a successful day. Thank you to all who participated and volunteered. We look forward to next year!

The Ogilvie Lions Baseball team held our annual End of Year Awards Banquet on Thursday night at the Ogilvie Raceway. Was a fun time and a great way to recap an amazing season! Please see individual pics for captions and awards!

The two 9U Ogilvie Baseball teams held practice together tonight in the sweltering heat. The future of Ogilvie Baseball continues to strengthen its friendships. Tomorrow they face off against one another in the final game of the 9U regular season.

Congratulations to Carter Magaard for being chosen to the MSHSL Class A All-State Tournament team! He was honored at Target Field after the Class A Championship game. This is a huge honor and is rightfully deserved! Congrats Carter!

The 2026 Varsity Season came to a close on Friday in the State Consolation Game. The Lions ended up placing 6th after going 1-2 in their 3 State games. This was a historic season on many levels for the Lions as all the following occurred for the first time in Ogilvie School history:
- Won the the Great River Conference (small division) for the second straight year
- Won the Section 4A Championship
- Made it to the MSHSL Baseball State Tournament
- Placed 6th at the State Tournament
- Won 20 overall games in one season (20-8 final record)
It was a fun and incredible season, and we would not have achieved these things without the help of our parents/guardians, teachers, administration, friends, family, classmates, coaches, and the entire Ogilvie Lions Community. So thank you to everyone who helped make this season special!!
