Carter Weaver | All Tournament Player | 2033
Carter is the definition of a player who does whatever it takes to win. He’s consistently making big plays for his teammates and always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Carter is always around the ball — whether it’s crashing the glass, jumping a passing lane, or scooping up a loose ball. He has a true nose for rebounds and isn’t afraid to mix it up inside to secure extra possessions. His hustle sets the tone, and his willingness to dive on the floor shows his commitment to the team.

Offensively, he makes teams pay. Carter is a knockdown shooter who can stretch the floor and deliver in key moments. Leave him open, and it’s buckets.

Jaxon Smith | Hustle Award | 2032

Jaxon is an absolute DAWG on both ends of the court. He brings toughness, intensity, and a competitive fire every time he steps between the lines.

Defensively, he’s a lockdown defender who takes pride in shutting down the opposing team’s best player. Active hands, strong lateral movement, and relentless on-ball pressure make him a nightmare matchup. He doesn’t just guard — he disrupts.

Offensively, Jaxon is a true 3-level scorer. He can knock down shots from deep, rise up confidently in the mid-range, and attack the basket with force. When he gets downhill, he finishes strong through contact and plays with physicality that sets the tone for his team.

Luis Hernandez Jr. | All Tournament Player | 2032

Luis is a certified sniper from deep with unlimited range and zero hesitation. Give him space and it’s automatic. His confidence beyond the arc forces defenses to extend, opening the floor for his teammates and shifting momentum in an instant.

But he’s far from just a shooter. On the defensive end, Luis is a menace, hence the nickname “The Menace”— active hands, relentless pressure, and the ability to disrupt passing lanes. He takes pride in locking up his assignment and turning defense into offense.

When he attacks the rim, he finishes strong through contact, showing toughness and body control beyond his years. Whether it’s a catch-and-shoot three, a clutch stop, or a powerful finish in traffic, Luis impacts the game on both ends of the floor.

What a weekend at The Big House! Thank you for a great event. Our boys showed heart, hustle, toughness, and togetherness throughout the weekend. The 5th grade squad brought home the hardware and rings, and our 6th grade team went 3-0 in pool play only to come up a little short to a strong team. 💪🏽🔥 We appreciate the bump as it will help us prepare for the upcoming regionals in a few weeks.

Proud of the growth. Proud of the fight. Proud of the culture. Back to the lab 🧪 to get better together.
