⚾️ OBP Making Noise in Tennessee! ⚾️

While our 12U Gorilla Kings are representing OBP in Cooperstown, our 11U Land Sharks have officially kicked off their week at the Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge—and what a start it was!

The Land Sharks put together an impressive showing in the skills competitions:

🥈 2nd Place – Infield Turn Two

And the highlight of the day may have come from the stands…

👑 All-Division Home Run Derby Champion – Brittany Collins!

Brittany outslugged the competition to win the Moms Home Run Derby across 66 teams from multiple divisions! 💪⚾

A great first day for the Land Sharks both on and off the field. Good luck to the boys as tournament play gets underway!

A record-setting 94 teams are competing this week at Cooperstown All Star Village!

And OBP wasted no time making some noise!

💪 Turn Two Competition – Our boys advanced all the way to the Top 10 Finals on the championship field!

💣 Home Run Derby – Pablo R. crushed 11 home runs and finished 2nd overall out of 94 teams!

⚡️ Fastest Man Competition – Greyson W. actually posted the fastest time of the day (12.5), but a timing transfer hiccup kept him out of the Top 10 Finals. For perspective, the winning time in the finals was 12.6!

Proud of these young men for representing Orlando Baseball Prospects with class, energy, and competitiveness on the biggest stage. The week is just getting started! 👊

🚨 New Tradition Alert! 🚨

The 12U Gorilla Kings head to Cooperstown tomorrow! As they prepare for an unforgettable week of baseball, the 14U Swamp Donkeys started a special OBP tradition by putting together goodie bags, small gifts, and handwritten notes wishing the team good luck.

It’s great to see our older players paying it forward and supporting the next group making the trip. We can’t wait to watch the Gorilla Kings compete on one of youth baseball’s biggest stages this week.

🇺🇸 Busy Memorial Day Weekend for OBP!

We had 6 teams competing this weekend, with 5 teams wrapping up their spring season. What a way to close things out! Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it. 💪

The 14u Swamp Donkeys, 13u War Hogs, and 10u Swamp Kings all traveled to Jacksonville to compete in the Perfect Game Battle at the Beach tournament. The boys mixed in some beach time with great baseball and made memories that will last a lifetime.

🐗 The 13u War Hogs had an outstanding weekend, going 3-1 and finishing as tournament runner-ups after falling in the championship game. They capped off an incredible season at 18-10 and finished ranked as the #3 team in the state! What a year for this group!

👑 The 10u Swamp Kings went 2-2, losing a heartbreaking walk-off game in the semifinals. This team put together an amazing season, finishing 21-5-1 and ranked #11 in the state. The future is VERY bright for this group! 🔥

🐴 The 14u Swamp Donkeys earned the #2 seed after a strong 2-0 Saturday before an unexpected early exit in bracket play. More importantly, this marks the end of an era. This group has been with OBP for 3 years and was one of the original two teams in the organization. We’re incredibly proud of these young men and can’t wait to watch them continue their baseball journey into high school. ❤️

🦍 The 12u Gorilla Kings - Cardenas competed in the GOB Memorial Day Madness tournament in New Smyrna. After going 1-1 in pool play and earning the #5 seed, they dropped a tough 9-8 bracket game. The bats were alive all weekend with several home runs launched! Proud of the way this group competed.

👑 The 12u Gorilla Queens finished 3-2, losing a hard-fought 2-1 quarterfinal game. Their defense was outstanding, allowing only 9 runs in 5 games! This was a successful season for the girls as they battled against older competition all year long, finishing with an impressive 18-14 record. Awesome job, ladies! 💪⚾

We’re incredibly thankful for all of our players, coaches, and families for representing OBP the right way all season long — with class, toughness, and pride. Thank you for an unforgettable spring season!

Joining him is dedicated Head Coach Bobby Stecher, as we build a program focused on player development, accountability, leadership, and high-level competition.

This is more than just another travel softball team it’s a movement.

We’re building a culture that competes hard, works harder, and brings energy every single day. A program where athletes are pushed to grow on and off the field while learning what it takes to compete at the next level.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE. 🦍👑

3 teams. 3 different USSSA tournaments across Central Florida this weekend. ⚾️

The 10U Swamp Kings saw their streak of consecutive tournament championships come to an end at 5, but still put together a strong weekend at the East Coast State Championship in Viera. The boys went 3-1, finishing as tournament runner-ups after falling in the championship game. Along the way, they beat the #2 team in the state twice and improved to an impressive 19-3 on the season. We’re so proud of our youngest team! 👏

The 11U Land Sharks – Edwin wrapped up their outstanding season at the Beach Bash NIT in New Smyrna. The team went 2-2 before falling in the quarterfinals. We couldn’t be more proud of the development, toughness, and grit this group showed all year long. After finishing the fall at 8-13, they responded in a huge way by going 20-8 this spring. A true testament to how much they improved in every phase of the game. 🔥

It wasn’t the weekend the Land Sharks hoped for at the Battle of Whispering Pines Open Tournament in Inverness, dropping games in pool and bracket play to the eventual tournament champions. Despite playing strong defense and consistently making solid contact at the plate, too many runners were left on base against a very tough lineup. Back to work for the next couple of weeks before they head to Pigeon Forge to cap off their 11U season! 💪⚾️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mom’s out there but especially our OBP mom’s!!

🔥 Big-time weekend for OBP! 🔥

The 12U Gorilla Kings stayed red hot, going 5–0 to bring home the USSSA Central Florida State Championship title! That’s 10 straight wins as they peak at the perfect time. One more tournament this weekend before they cap off their 12u year with a trip to Cooperstown!

The 11U Land Sharks – Edwin kept rolling, capturing the GOB Empire Strikes Out Championship! Dominant all spring, they’ve earned their second title and improved to 18–6.

The 13U War Hogs and 14u Swamp Donkeys also competed in the USSSA Central Florida State Championship. The War Hogs battled their way into the gold bracket and came up just short in a tough walk-off loss in the quarterfinals. The Swamp Donkeys competed hard in 3 low-scoring games but went 0-2-1. Tough weekend but they get one more opportunity in their OBP career!

Our 12U Gorilla Queens brought the energy at the USSSA CF Be Courageous tournament, going 1–2 in pool play and 1–1 in bracket play. Their final loss came to a strong runner-up—one of the best in the state. This group keeps having fun and playing top competition!
