The University of Alabama claims their 5th consecutive National Championship title! The Tide won all three matches against The University of Michigan in their inaugural year.
The University of Arizona also had a strong showing and finished 3rd in the team competition against San Diego State University.
After lunch, the 20th anniversary of the Collegiate National Championships came to a close with the individual competition.
Thomas Venos (Alabama) was named the Tier 1 singles champion after defeating Jason Keatseangsilp (Arizona) with a score 3-6, 6-4, [11-9].
Jeff Townsend (Clemson) took the Tier 2 singles title, with Spencer Heslop (Michigan) finishing undefeated in pool play.
Owen Anketell (Arizona) also battled for the Tier 3 singles title over Oluwaferanmi Okanlami (Michigan) with a final score of 6-2, 6-7 (5), [12-10].

Day 3 wrapped up the singles semi-finals!
Tomorrow morning at Alabama (1) and Michigan (4) will fight for the National Championship. Alabama is the reigning champion with 4 consecutive titles.
Immediately following will be the singles finals for all 3 tiers:
Tier 1: Thomas Venos (Alabama) vs. Jason Keatsingsilp (Arizona)
Tier 2: Jeff Townsend (Clemson) vs. Spencer Heslop (Michigan)

Day 2 of the Collegiate National Championships finished off with an upset in the team competition.
Michigan (4) took down San Diego State (2) with a 3-0 sweep. Michigan will face Alabama (1) in the finals Sunday morning.
Tomorrow will finish off round robin play in Tiers 1 and 2 of the individual competition. The semi-finals for all three tiers will be immediately following.

The largest field of competition at the Collegiate National Championships in its 20 year history...
Matchplay started today and it was fierce! The National Campus was overflowing with school spirit.
The semi-finals for the team competition begins at 9am EDT and the individual rounds continue at 12:30pm EDT.

Today is the day!!
Today marks the start of the 2021 Collegiate National Championships.
Team competition begins at 11am EST. The team format will consist of 1 doubles match and 2 singles matches. The winner of the best out of 3 matches will move onto the next round.
The individual singles competition will begin at 3pm EST. All draws are posted on USTA, tournament code: 21-00854
