Remote Control Hobbies - Orlando

The sign is down and the store is getting cleared out to make way for a future tenant. Although the lease was up and I did not want to renew for another 5 years, that doesn't mean I'm getting out of RC. I want to move on to new adventures in life and the RC industry. I will be focusing on my Gear Jammer RC parts business after I take a few months off to enjoy life and work on personal projects. 😁

I'm still waiting for the pharmacy to fill the prescription and call me. The vet also said I should keep Dillin home and resting today. So, we won't be opening today. Sorry. I will open tomorrow and we'll have everything highly discounted. So, come grab what's left tomorrow for super cheap on our last day!!!

The vet got a hold of me with Dillin's first set of labs that came back. He basically has canine MRSA at minimum, and it may be an autoimmune disorder that caused it. 😬 So, they have time at noon tomorrow to squeeze him in, check him out, and get him a prescription written. I'm thinking we'll probably be open around 2 tomorrow by the time we're done with the appointment and getting his prescriptions filled. If there are any changes, I will post as usual.

Sorry. It looks like it'll be more like 3:25 we open the shop. I'm still not used to how long it takes to operate at Dillin's slow speed lately. We're on our way!!!

We'll be opening at 3 today. I decided to give Dillin a bath last minute because his ears really started bothering him in the last hour. Sadly, the vet has had some of his test results for three days, but still hasn't gone over them to tell me anything... I'm not impressed. I had expected to be able to take him in this morning...

EDIT: It's going to be more like 4 or so when we get there and open. We're on our way now.

We'll be opening late, around 3:30 today. Dillin had a bath a couple of hours ago and is resting under a blanket. He's still in pretty rough shape, so I want to let him rest comfortably for a while longer.

I changed my mind. We'll be closed today. I probably shouldn't have opened at all yesterday, either. Dillin needs his rest. He's pretty miserable and tired, so I'm going to let him cuddle with me and sleep all day, as that seems to be what he needs. I plan to open tomorrow for regular hours. Sorry for any inconvenience, but his health and well-being trump my need to clear stuff out of the shop.

Dillin is still in pretty rough shape today, so we'll be opening at 4 again so he can rest and take it easy.

We will be opening around 4 PM today, 11/20/25. Dillin needed a biopsy, and the only day they could squeeze him in was today, or he'd have to wait almost a month. I can pick him up between 3 and 3:30 this afternoon, so we'll be heading in as soon as he's ready to go.

EDIT: It looks like it'll be more like 4:30 before we get there. They were running a bit behind at the vet, so we're about to leave here to head to the shop in a few.
