Florida Cricket Conference (FCC) is a community-based grass roots cricket organization in Central Florida. The organization was established in 2010 by professionals and cricket enthusiast. The FCC’s primary goal is to introduce the game of cricket to the locals and to promote cricket at all levels, in particular, at youth level, to develop the next generation of players who can successfully compete at local, regional, and national levels.

It is with great sorrow we inform the Florida Cricket community about the passing Mr. Eric Blye 🙏🏽

Mr. Blye was one of the biggest champion for cricket in Central Florida, he worked tirelessly for many years to insure cricket always had a place to call home. His years of dedication to cricket paid of with the crown jewel of cricket fields in Orange County with the picturesque ground at Silverstar Recreation Center.

His efforts allowed for Orlando and Orange County to host highest levels of cricket in the US with American Cricket Federation National Finals 3 years in row from 2012 to 2014 and more recently the Minor League Cricket and home matches for the Orlando Galaxy.

On your average Sunday, you would find Mr. Blye seating in the shade enjoying local league cricket and providing his feedback on the proceedings.

May Mr. Eric Blye Rest In Peace as we mourn but also celebrate with his family and the cricket community, at large; his life and contributions to cricket, lovely cricket 🙏🏽
