We are a youth baseball organization ranging from 8U up through 14U and still growing! Keep in mind this is not (for the lack of better terms) "daddy ball".
We are a youth baseball organization ranging from 8U up through 14U and still growing. Each week our players are offered one batting practice, one conditioning session, and one field practice. All coaches are current or former baseball players at the professional or collegiate level. Therefore we evaluate each kid, place them on one of our teams, and expect nothing but hard working players to show

On a beautiful night for baseball at Lake Brantley High School, West Orange walked out with their 3rd PGYF Prep League Championship, including their fifth Championship appearance in Six Seasons. West Orange started our 2020 Fall Hitting Champ, Erick Martinez, on the mound who shutout Dr. Olympia’s lineup that has scored 23 runs through three Playoff Games, into the 5th inning before being relieved by Keith Holden and Rylan Zinn to complete the shutout with West Orange winning 3-0. Executing well and scoring three runs in the top of the first inning, we had a pitching and defensive duel the rest of the way. Congratulations to Coach Carlos Jimenez and the West Orange team for a great season and 2021 Spring Championship. Compiled of all 8th graders, could this be the end of our first PGYF Prep League DynastE?

Player of the week
Our Player of the week for the week of 3-22 through 3-28 is David Acevedo !!
David just got edged out the first week by Luis Bahamonde, but that didn't stop David's work ethic. David has been asked to play different positions, eat up innings on the mound, and hit anywhere from the 2nd to the 8th hole in the lineup in both Travel ball and Feeder and he has consistently delivered. At practice he is always asking questions about the mental part of the game and is making a conscience effort to really help the team out. As a teammate David is a player you can count on to have your back as he is always giving positive feedback to anyone that is struggling or having a bad day. What impresses us the most about David is that he never cracks under pressure whether if its in a close game or at practice when coaches go hard on him. He stays calm and collected gives us a "yes sir" and keeps getting better.
David has become a very dependable player that we can trust, even learning a little first base to keep our team flexible.
We are very proud of David and I cant wait to see some more hard work and improvement from him. Keep getting better kid!
David will receive a limited edition Empire baseball cap, He gets to pick a drill of his choice during fielding, and he does not have to pick up baseballs next week!

Player of the week Luis Bahamonde.
Our Player of the week for the week of 3-8 through 3-14 is Luis Bahamonde!!
Luis has been on a mission since last season to start getting on top of the ball in order to be a productive hitter. All season he has been making a conscious effort to come through for his team . His concentration at practice and his leadership on the field has been an absolute joy to watch.
Last season Luis felt like he under performed and he has taken full responsibility busting his tail to get better. His on base percentage and batting average are light years ahead of last season and we are only 3 tournaments in.
Luis has a lot of work to do but if he keeps this work ethic up the sky is the limit.
Luis will receive a limited edition Empire baseball cap, He gets to pick a drill of his choice during fielding, and he does not have to pick up baseballs next week!
