It was such an honor to be one of the panelists at Wedding Venue Map's THRIVE wellness event for wedding professionals last month at Bonnet Springs Park.
A HUGE shoutout 👏 to all of the attendees who took time out of their day for a much deserved break.
The hospitality field is an amazing industry. I know this from experience. Planners and vendors work tirelessly to create their client's ultimate vision and truly give it their all. Unfortunately, this means that their own self care is sometimes sacrificed.
I want to remind you that you do not have to sacrifice your health for your career. You can build your wealth and maintain your health when you focus on small daily steps and . If you do not "put your mask on first” or “fill up your own cup” how can you be your best self for your clients and loved ones?
I know you may be saying that's easier said that done Talya, so let's help you get started today! 🤗
➡️Whether you are a hospitality professional or struggling to focus on your own health in the corporate world here are you can make to thrive during the day rather than just survive:
✅Fill up a large water bottle before you go to sleep to grab in the am before that cup of coffee
✅Have an easy protein rich fiber packed breakfast in the morning like full fat greek yogurt and berries
✅Pack healthy snacks like fruit and nuts the night prior
✅Set alarms to take breaks to stretch, eat, and recharge (yes, you are allowed)
✅Give yourself an email cut-off time and shut down your laptop to unwind for the night

Happy Friday and I hope your 2026 has been off to a great start! 🙌
After a hiatus to be with my son, I am back to the coaching world and cannot wait to share small daily shifts you can make to improve your health while rocking your career. ☺️
It’s halfway through January and many of us have set lofty goals for the year. Rather than beat yourself up over what you have not accomplished, focus on the small shifts you have already made this month. 💪
✅Did you bring that water bottle to the office?

✅Did you get in a few walks?
✅Did you go to sleep earlier?

Jennifer Estar Mesika and I had a fabulous time with the lovely ladies who attended our Power Up! Workshop at Foundation Fitness 🤗.
The evening was filled with healthy tasty bites, helpful strengthening exercises, lots of sharing and laughs, and of course simple action steps to recharge 💪!
Small YOU can do this week to reenergize as you button up your work to do lists before turkey 🦃 day are:
✅Start your day with a power breakfast 🥚 🥬🥑
✅Drink 2 more glasses of water 💦
✅Set reminders to move and get up
✅Actually stop to have a lunch
✅Get outdoors

Have a lot on your plate this week?

Take a deep breath and remind yourself that you can't do it all. BUT you CAN do something to fuel your body and mind! 😊
✨Rather than focus on what you don't have time for and throw in the towel, choose 1 thing you CAN do for yourself and carve out the time for it?✨
Here are six ideas to get you started?
❓Can you set a daily water goal?
❓Can you carve out 15 minutes to make lunch?
❓Can you schedule a walk 2-3 times this week?
❓Can you set an alarm for a solid work cut off time?
❓Can you aim to get to bed 30 minutes earlier?
❓Can you listen to a relaxing 5 minute meditation?

Since we can’t always take a vacation, we MUST allow ourselves to during the daily hustle and bustle.
I know this can be hard and you just want to plow through your to do lists, but TRUST me… You will not only feel more relaxed, but you will be MORE efficient and productive when you return from your well-deserved mini break. ❤
