I hope these days never leave us. She will be 16 in 2 weeks and the thought of her growing up- kills me. She is my baby and always will be. I love her so much!!!

Us Moms have to do what we have to do to get it all done. This week I will have a buddy with me doing virtual school.

This week I got a notice from my daughters school about excessive absences. And that she really can’t miss any more days without interrupting her progression to the next grade.

Here is what I learned over the past two years. Don’t take your loved ones for granted. 6 of the days that she missed were for this man right here. In November he turned 90 and so we went to celebrate him. Then the next set of days she missed was for his funeral last month.

So to my daughter’s school, I am sure the lesson I taught her will last her a lifetime. Make your loved ones a priority, you will not have them forever.

I rented my first solo apartment at 20 years old. No room mates, all financial responsibility was on me.

I was living on my own since I was 17 but always had room mates to split the cost.

That first solo apartment was $850 a month. I was making $30k a year working full time. My take home pay was $857. I will never forget those numbers... living pay check to pay check.

Recommitting myself to my goals. Physical health, Mental Health and Financial Health. They all matter and they all need me to invest my time into them.

Never did I ever think I would own more than 1 home.

I mean I struggled for many years financially. I watched my friends buy homes when I could not afford one. Then when I finally got my finances in order and saved enough money for a down payment, I thought "woo" we finally did it.
Never did I think I would start to invest in real estate... Never. I could not see the possibility of having enough for down payments, enough to cover the expenses when times were slow. Never did I ever... but today I did. Today I did... today I purchased home #3.
