Kyle Fletcher has called out Bandido for AEW Redemption. The AEW International Champion issued the challenge on AEW Dynamite after retaining against Komander, a night that saw Brodido cross paths with Fletcher backstage and Bandido and Brody King clear the ring following his confrontation with Konosuke Takesh*ta and Kazuchika Okada.
Here is everything set or shaping up for AEW Redemption on Sunday, July 26 at the Bell Centre in Montreal:

Kenny Omega vs. Kevin Knight for the AEW World Championship
Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women's World Championship
Mark Davis vs. Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship
Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa

Omega accepted Knight's challenge on Dynamite, telling him to show up alone as "The Jet" rather than with the Don Callis Family. The Buy-In begins at 6 PM ET, the main card at 7 PM ET.

HAS TONY KHAN MADE COLLISION IRRELEVANT?

When AEW Collision launched in 2023, it immediately felt like a major show. The debut was built around CM Punk's return and, for a time, the programme had its own identity, with many fans viewing it as AEW's second flagship show.

However, since Punk's departure, many fans have argued that Collision has struggled to find that same identity. A common criticism is that the show too often consists of random matches, heavy Ring of Honor crossover, and bouts featuring talent with little ongoing storyline development. Casual viewers also say they often struggle to connect with the show, as many episodes feature wrestlers they rarely see on Dynamite or don't know much about, making Collision feel less essential to watch.

While the in-ring wrestling is often praised, critics argue that most of AEW's biggest storylines, surprises and major moments still happen on Dynamite, leaving Collision feeling like a secondary programme.

Tony Khan has defended the product by putting more championship matches and PPV-calibre bouts on television, arguing that fans should receive major matches without having to buy every pay-per-view.
