BEHIND THE BASEBALL: COACH EDITION 🥎⚾️

Meet Meredith Brunhammer.

For Coach Meredith, Union Park has been a part of her story for years! She started playing at UP when she was 8 years old and continued through high school. Now, she’s back on the fields as a coach and parent, carrying that same love for the game into the next generation. ❤️

Meredith joined the Union Park coaching family in 2022 and has been managing a team for the past couple of years. She also serves as Softball Player Agent, helping support the program and the players who make it so special.

“What I love most about coaching is watching the growth each season and the love for the game grow in the girls.”

From playing on these fields to now helping develop the next generation of softball players, Meredith’s story is a reminder of what makes Union Park special, it’s more than a league, it’s a family and a tradition passed down through the years.

Thank you, Coach Meredith, for giving back to the league and for helping our girls grow both as players and as teammates!

This is Behind the Baseball. This is Union Park. ❤️💙

Keep your eye on the ball ⚾️

Baseballs #1 unwritten rule. Timeless. Practical. A coaches fave. And exactly what our boys and girls are going to do this Saturday!

October 24. Game day. See you there. 😉⚾️🥎

Practice makes perfect…eventually 😉

Huge shoutout to SLIDEMVP Sliding Mats. Thanks for helping our kids learn how to slide safely into home! 🧢🥎⚾️

UPLL Coaches: Need help with slide practice? Ask a board member to grab the sliding mats out of the main offices. It’s a safe way to learn and brings about lots of SMILES!

BEHIND THE BASEBALL: COACH EDITION ⚾️🥎

Meet Rey Suero.

Coach Rey joined the Union Park family in 2020 and has spent the last six years coaching our players. After three years as an assistant coach, he stepped into the role of Head Coach.

For Coach Rey, coaching is about more than teaching baseball. It’s about helping kids develop their skills, believe in themselves, and discover the same love for the game that he has. ❤️

“What I love most about coaching is to be able to help kids grow their skills and gain confidence in themselves. To be able to influence them into loving the sport the way I love it too.”

That’s what Union Park is all about. Building skills and inspiring the next generation to love the game.

Thank you, Coach Rey, for your dedication to our players and for sharing your passion for baseball with the Union Park family!

This is Behind the Baseball. This is Union Park. ❤️💙
