Swim Out

Swim Out had a great time at the
Sunshine Open Water Swim in St. Pete, hosted by Leo.
For many of our swimmers this was their first
competitive open water event, so there were definitely
some nerves at the start!

The water was calm but chilly (about 69° 🥶).
Thankfully most of us came prepared with wetsuits —
though after the 5K, Paige and Brian were probably
feeling pretty warm!

We had 8 Swim Out swimmers, the most of any team,
and took home the team award 🏆 And afterwards we
hung out at the hotel pool (see: Lindsay).

Great event, great team, and already looking forward to
the next one. Thanks again, Leo!

Almost time for Swim Out's stroke analysis clinic! This class is full but there will be more scheduled!

This past weekend, Swim Out competed in the 17th annual Rowdy Gaines Masters Classic in Orlando, FL — and what a weekend it was! We had 18 members competing across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, cheering each other on, racing hard, and wrapping up each day with team dinners together.

It was extremely cold (as low as the 30s 🥶), but we stayed warm with lots of layers and plenty of time hanging out in the heated locker rooms.

As for results — Swim Out finished 4th overall in team points, and Joel and Joey both took home high point awards for their age groups! 💪🔥

Huge congrats to everyone who raced, supported, and showed up. Proud of this team. 💙🏊‍♂️
