Great turnout this morning for the Bike 5 Cities ride!
We had fun helping out all the riders get they're bikes ready in the AM before the ride. We even converted a road bike to single speed mid day haha. The derailleur broke off, but the rider was able to complete the course. Congratulations to the 10th year of this event!!

New story out from Spectrum News 13 about some new stats regarding bicycle and pedestrian safety in the state of Florida.
https://mynews13.com/fl/orlando/news/2026/09/20/what-floridas-cyclist-crash-data-means-for-local-riders

The numbers have always been bad, but there's some more new details now that could be helpful! If the majority of accidents are happening between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. during the dark hours, let's advocate for more lights on bikes! We've been carrying CatEye Bicycle Electronics brand rechargeable high-powered lights for years, they're super reliable and long-lasting.
KBS has always been an advocate of choosing safe routes, and that can make a huge difference in enjoyment and safety of the ride. Check out some of the routes on Bike/Walk Central Florida Bike 5 Cities routes, also their big event is coming up this october, it's a perfect opportunity to check out these bike paths. Let's work together I'm making our neighborhood a safer place to ride!!

Love craft b**r and bikes? Then come join us for **Burn It to Earn It** — a collaboration ride with 3 Odd Guys Brewing and Jinks IT!

This is a **hybrid-focused social fitness ride** at a friendly, conversational pace — enough movement to get the heart pumping while still keeping things fun and welcoming.

After the ride, reward yourself with a cold b**r back at the brewery. Riders receive a discount on drinks!

Not riding but still want to support? We’ve got you covered. Jinks IT has set things up so riders can upload an app that allows their ride progress to be viewed live from the brewery.

Get ready, get set… let’s ride!
