LADIES PICKLEBALL LEAGUE RECAP 🏓

It was a glorious day for the Genesis ladies Pickleball league. We rolled up at about 5:00 PM, and the drama began before the warm-up: courts were basically underwater. But fear not, heroes rise when the rain stopped—so we squeegeed, wiped, and then… game on!

The ladies were serving like laser beams, hitting deep with precision, returning like pros, and rushing to the kitchen line as if there were free snacks at stake. They d**ked like pros, the volleys were fast, hard, and quick paced. There were speed ups, volleys , and block shots that were pure entertainment.

MEN’S PICKLEBALL LEAGUE RECAP 🏓

Last week's event was full with 18 players and 1 on the waiting list. The hard-core Pickleball players that are Genesis members have figured it out: this is the place to be for the most competitive and fun men’s Pickleball league in all of Central Florida if not the entire country. 🇺🇸 It’s in a great central location next to the I-4 corridor, easy to get to, with (4) high-quality, professional, outdoor pickleball courts.

Coach Marc Bahn who is a master certified Pickleball instructor engineers fair matchups based on the skill level. The league has gotten to the point where most players are at the advanced skill level. 🔥

Most of the games were really tight and decided by one or two points and there were several last-minute recoveries and comebacks. The guys fought hard, they had fun, and created some memories for a LIFETIME. 📸

🏊‍♂️ SUMMER SWIM TEAM registration is now open!

Run by G.O.A.T. (Greater Orlando Aqutics Team) decorated head coach Rocco Aceto🏆 who brings 30+ year experience coaching club, high school and collegiate athletes and has produced competitors for multiple national swim teams.

✅️ When: June 9 - July 9. Tuesdays & Thursdays 6pm-7pm
✅️ Where: Genesis Health Clubs Main Indoor Pool
✅️ Who: Children 4-12 y.o.
✅️ What is included: attend as many days as desired. All students will receive a latex team racing cap

Swimmers in the Summer GOATS program will learn the basics of competitive swimming, including stroke mechanics in all four strokes, racing starts, racing turns, and race strategy, in a safe and fun environment.

Clinics and coaching is offered by GOAT SWIM’s nationally ranked college swimmers.

All participants should be able to swim 25 yards without touching the bottom with in water coaches and deck coaches providing safe environment.

LADIES PICKLEBALL LEAGUE RECAP 🏓

What a night at the Genesis Health Club courts! Under absolutely perfect weather, 16 incredible women brought energy, determination, and pure love for the game! In just 1 hour and 45 minutes, they powered through 7 straight matches each—an impressive display of stamina, focus, and teamwork.

The courts were alive with excitement as every rally, every volley, and every point reflected the passion and competitive spirit of this amazing group.

The competition couldn’t have been tighter. Out of 28 total matches, only 9 reached the 11-point mark, showing just how evenly matched the field was. 11 matches were decided by 2 points or less—true nail-biters that kept everyone engaged until the very last shot. This wasn’t just play—it was high-level, edge-of-your-seat pickleball at its finest.

Nights like this are what make the league special—competitive, uplifting, and full of unforgettable moments! 🤗
