Cam Whitmore is on shaky ground, but with his youth, ill-equipped come-up, and unmistakeable athletic tools, there is ostensibly plenty more to come.

Other aspects I didn’t even mention:
- Sending out 3 second-round picks to dump Reggie Jackson to Charlotte after handing him an above-minimum 2 Yr/$10M deal
- The Michael Malone-Calvin Booth rift: Booth’s adamance on Malone playing the youngsters when they weren’t ready to the point he actively avoided signing veteran minimum free agents like Malik Beasley & Gary Trent Jr. (Justin Holiday was quite literally a staple of the Playoff rotation in 2024 as a result)

It also goes without saying that Murray’s ACL tear deprived the Nuggets of consecutive deep Playoff runs in the thick of their title window in ‘21 and ‘22. Injuries have played a part in preventing multiple titles as well as inept roster management.

Figured I’d dust off the mic & deep dive a handful of sequences from Orlando’s Game 3 victory.
