From Orlando to Chengdu! 🎾🌴 16-year-old Jordan Lee is one of just three Americans heading to the 2026 World Tennis Tour Junior Finals, October 21 to 25 in China, where the world’s top eight boys and girls battle it out. 🌏 He earned his spot with a breakout season, highlighted by winning the Wimbledon boys’ title as a qualifier. 🏆 Go get ’em, Jordan!

Florida's youngest stars took over the USTA National Campus October 3 to 5 for the 12s and 14s divisions of the 2026 Bobby Curtis Doubles Junior State Championships. 🌴 Delray Beach's Bence Leber and Savina Somrock each walked away with two titles, teaming up as eighth seeds to win the Mixed 12s. 🏆

USTA Florida is launching "Team Play Fall Ball," a statewide pilot bringing team-based tennis competition to junior players this fall. 🎾🌴

The pilots run through two tracks: Facility Hubs at five Florida facilities, including three operated or managed by USTA Florida, and school-based programs at Viera High School and in Lee County. 🏫 Each one is designed to give juniors a low-barrier pathway into match play, with local matches, flexible formats, and a team environment close to home. 🙌

Each pilot will be evaluated at the end of the fall season, tracking participation, retention, and family feedback to shape how USTA Florida expands team play statewide in 2027. 📈

Meet Matthew Henry, a 14-year-old whose racquet has taken him from quiet and reluctant to speak to Athlete of the Year! 🎾🌴 A veteran of Love Serving Autism at Wellington Tennis Center, Matthew's hard work earned him LSA's 2024 Athlete of the Year Award, and in 2025 he was one of only three Florida athletes selected for Love Serving Autism's on-court experience at the US Open. 🏆

Four divisions, four counties, four section titles! 🏆🌴 The Mixed 18 & Over Sectional Championships wrapped up with a full weekend of tight, three-court battles, and every champion is now headed to the USTA League National Championships in October and November. 🎾🔥
