Dear We Run Orlando,

On behalf of the National Center of Transgender Equality, The Pride Cup, and Cal Dobbs we invite all members of your running group and community to a very important 5K to celebrate trans joy through sport and fundraise for Florida-based lgbtq organizations.

The 5K is called the Trot for Trans Lives and it is also a celebration to conclude Cal Dobbs’s TRANScontinental Run.

Cal Dobbs is a transgender ultra marathoner who has spent the last four months running 2,800 miles across America from California to Florida to fight for the inclusion of trans people in sports and access to gender affirming healthcare. Along the way he has held a Trot for Trans Lives in every major city and brought together running communities all across the South to show support for transgender people.

He is ending his run with the final Trot for Trans Lives on July 29 in Orlando, FL but you can also participate virtually from anywhere in the world! You can learn more about Cal on instagram

The 5K is a fundraiser for several organizations working tirelessly to fight for q***r and trans people in Florida facing the most inhumane anti lgbtq policies in America and they need resources to continue this vital work.
