I began dancing at age 3. I have always considered ballet my forte, though I also studied tap, jazz, modern, and lyrical. As a freshman in college I started taking ballroom dance classes for exercise and a change of pace from the strict classical ballet classes (and an extra fine arts credit.) Of course, I fell in love with that too. A few years later I started teaching everything I could from creative movement for 2 year olds, to advance ballet/pointe, to tango and foxtrot at a senior center. I try to take classes to improve my technique and learn new styles of dance and fitness as often as possible. I consider myself well rounded dancer and teacher (though I'm still a ballerina at heart.)

MJ Waddell – Yoga, Aquafit teacher.
I’m so happy to join the Dynamic team. I left the polar vortex of upstate NY for sunshine, sand and surf. With a professional career in musical theatre and dance, fitness has always been a priority. Yoga keeps me flexible, balanced, and calm both onstage and off. It’s such a privilege to experience and watch peoples lives changing....including mine! I’m registered with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500). Teaching Aquafit is now my newest interest! Water with a workout!
I’m originally from Rochester, NY but have lived all over the country and abroad. My career began in Florida in the early 80’s so I feel like I’m returning to where it all began.
