Luisa was awarded the Gold Medal and a $1,500 cash prize in the Pre-Professional Category at the WBC ā€˜25 along with scholarships to the Washington School of Ballet, Central Florida Ballet, and Conservatorio Internacional de Ballet e Danca. She trains at AteliĆŖ da DanƧa.

We’re pleased to announce Melissa Gelfin will be performing in the WBC’s All Stars of Dance performance held on June 20 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts!

Melissa Gelfin is a principal dancer of Cincinnati Ballet. Gelfin’s repertoire with the company includes classical and contemporary works by Septime Webre, Yuri Possokhov, Victoria Morgan, Val Caniparoli, Jerome Robbins, George Balanchine, and many more.

We’re pleased to announce Tommie Lin Keston as a guest artist in the WBC’s All Stars of Dance performance held on June 20 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts!

Tommie Lin Kesten joined Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in 2018 and was promoted to the rank of Principal Dancer in 2023. She was most recently featured on the Cover of Pointe Magazine’s 2025 November/December issue. Her repertoire includes Ave Maria, Divertimento No. 15, Glass Pieces, Rubies, Theme and Variations, and Walpurgisnacht among many others.

Alexis Workowski joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2024. Her awards include 3rd Prize at the 9th Annual Helsinki International Ballet Competition, Silver Medal in the World Ballet Competition, the Grand Prix Award at the Youth America Grand Prix. Her repertoire includes George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht, Gerard Charles’ The Nutcracker, Derek Deane’s Swan Lake, and Edwaard Liang’s Romeo and Juliet.
