Teacher Spotlight: Lisa Rosen ✨

From sunrise walks and runs along Lake Monroe to tending a garden full of zinnias and the wildlife they attract, Lisa finds joy in the beauty of the natural world. She loves to travel, learn, and explore, with a trip to Chiang Mai on the horizon in 2027. But despite her love of being outside, she’ll happily admit she’s terrified of snakes and frogs. 😅

When she’s not teaching, you’ll find Lisa catching a sunrise, spending time in her garden, or enjoying a coffee, tea, *or* matcha. Her answer: yes, please!

Lisa’s hope for every class is simple: that you leave feeling like rolling out your mat was a really good idea, with no regrets about how you just spent the last hour.

Another summer baby welcomed earthside at Winnie. We had an absolutely amazing family centered, low intervention induction per mom’s choice. Support is key now matter how you choose or have to have your baby.

On our 2 week postpartum visit addenda today…. Nourishing homemade soup 🍲 brought for lunch✔️. Run through my checklist for healing, feeding, morale, and baby with TLC and resources ✔️. Sending parents off for a proper everything shower 🚿 and nap 😴 while look after baby✔️. Wash bottles🍼 and pump parts and dishes in the sink and wipe down counter tops ✔️. Talk through the birth and feelings with mom ✔️. While we can’t necessarily Doula you through every aspect of postpartum, we can help support you so you have more tools and support to make that magic happen.

Are you ready to start your journey to become a postpartum Doula? This 2 day weekend workshop taught by Heather, a seasoned PP Doula of 17 years, local area experts like IBCLCs, mental health professionals, nutritionist and more. Gain aditional hands on training along side seasoned Doulas and start working as soon as you feel ready. Space is limited with 4 of your Doula sisters already signed up.
