WHAT HAPPENS: The ammunition causes brass shavings to invade your upper and lower and will cause rounds to get stuck in the barrel. What likely happened in the first weapon is that a round got stuck after being lightly tapped and was followed up with a second round, or compromised a round that blew up shortly after.
In the second weapon, there may or may not be a round still in the barrel, but the brass shavings are so awful to the weapon, the they are preventing the bolt from being pulled back.
