Mike Sabia, made a comment on my post. I hid it so I wouldnt have a derogatory comment dominating the page until I could respond. But now my response exceeds the allowable characters in the comment box.
I am not a FaceBook Master. His comment is below in comments. But here is my response:
No, I am not knocking anybody's credentials. I'm knocking the fact that your group would attack me with lies on points of fact (see comments below Segara vs Sgro), touting your/their expertise in historical facts when they are wrong, and using their self proclaimed superior knowledge of history and superior traditional lineage they would continue to swarm together in a pack to attack someone they don't agree with, not because they themselves disagree, but because that is the environment the leadership has stirred by attacking every other post I've made regarding my teacher, the Kukkiwon, etc. based on the leaderships relentless mention of, (paraphrasing) "no one in here cares about Hong Chong Soo, the Kukkiwon," etc.
Since I began introducing my history, because to understand where I am and where I'm going one would have to see where I've been, my posts have been criticized, minimized, ostracized, and blocked, while l've been lied about, lied to, cursed at, and basically gang jumped because of things I've said about certain historical figures.
And the best part is that TSD people in the group said the same things l've said and it was overlooked, no comments.
But when the TKD guy says it, it's an all out war.
I'll demonstrate that if you need evidence.

Where was Segara here?
I never said or implied that TKD MDK was the only governing body. What I have made a point of is that l've been with the same (direct 1950's to 1965 era Hwang Kee/Hong Chong Soo, and Hong Chong Soo 1950's to 1998 student) teacher from 10th Geup to 8th Dan (and it wouldn't matter if it was TSD, SBD, or TKD). There is a BIG difference between that and rank shopping.
IMO, that is tradition and lineage. One Master, one lineage, one way- one do, one philosophy, one hands on, eyes on, teaching, molding, mentoring, monitoring, correcting, rewarding, edifying, promoting, etc.
I do not consider, a couple dans from this guy, and a couple from that guy, then one or two here, then one or two there, from people across the country, to people on the other side of the globe, or making your own Kwan and promoting yourself, with zero daily teaching/ mentoring to be traditional or proper lineage.
Each has their own style, opinion, method, motivation, belief system, and you must admit it would not compare to standing in front of a Hwang Kee, Hong Chong Soo, or Do Jae Sun for 40 years, which no one in this conversation did!
I speak calmly because I know who I am, where I come from, and where I'm going. From the beginning of these disputes, the debate team leaders on your side have misspoken, misguided, misquoted, and literally lied about historical facts. The admin has enabled the lies and profanity by not correcting them, although after kicking me out of the group he does just that.

Sgro - "Not everyone in the Moo Duk Kwan was against the unification. In fact, what I'd like to verify is I was told Hwang Kee, KJN had a Board of Directors who voted to join Kwan Unification and that evening Hwang Kee, KJN, changed his mind. But the BOD disagreed with Hwang Kee, KJN, hence there was a split." I literally posted the translated transcript. (All verifiably true)
Exactly what I said!
Segara - "Choi, et. Al. did horrible things threatened, burned Dojangs (paraphrasing) to force the merge."
Sgro - "I've asked folks about the forcing of people to join. When Taekwondo unified because (corrected grammar) to teach in schools, get military jobs, etc, you had to be in TKD. I can not verify the parts where people were threatened to join." ( Because it's not true, and you won't find one official document or transcript on either side to that effect. Just self serving story embellishment and heresy.)

And the people in the group who don't know any better but depend on you leaders for context and direction swallowed that hook, line, and sinker. This is what develops the perpetuation and next TSD generation of misinformed haters!
And it doesn't help that Sgro and Segara are longtime friends and when "It's taken a long time to create the culture here in The Dojang. I want this to be a stress free

I have no issue with Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan holding the MDK Trademark in the US. Although if you do a MDK search in FB groups you'll see hundreds of people using it, and I would agree with what I think was an opinion of Segara (I think therefore I am and if I am I could be mistaken so if mistaken don't attack me, instead correct me with verifiable evidence) on this point with some expansion. Moo Duk Kwan is universal. And this may lead to another argument, if so, save it for later, too much on my plate as it is. Name one other martial art, sport, youth activitv. etc.. that does not cultivate respect, integrity, etc.
Hwang Kee took many working parts and formulated them into the infrastructure (syllabus) for human moral cultural enhancement through martial arts practice and improved character cultivation. We ultimately call this a self perfecting technique!
I see where the trademark has an effect, yet millions outside of SBD are MDKwaning.
And you don't see the MDK logo on my uniform because I have many uniforms. When I am in Kukkiwon events I wear a Kukkiwon issued uniform. It does not don a MDK emblem either, although its first President and VP were MDK.
I'll get to the Kang topic later. First I want to address the humility I apparently lack.
First, in the "Dojang" do you see me cursing and stomping my feet with lies? No, that's someone you call,
"a well established and highly credentialed individual in the KMA community." And how do I react? Calm, courteous, no screaming, just trying to re emphasize the truth amidst the attack. Not trying to be condescending or putting anyone down, just trying to emphasize the truth among the screaming mob. No humility.
Second, I trained from 75-77 in the U.S., 77-84 overseas, 84-85 back in the U.S., and 85-91 back overseas before beginning my training with GM Do. What belt or training level would you expect one to achieve in that 16 year period? GM Do said, you come to me, you start clean at 10 Geup. Nope, no humility there.
Third, take a look at any and every one of my pictures in my timeline, the Dojang, or any page you want to look at.
What belt do you see? I've been officially promoted to 9th Dan twice, and unofficially once. Officially travelled, tested, and had my credentials hand delivered by the President, and what belt due you see? Unlike some, my ego is not one that I need to run to pursue rank at all costs. I have it, and I question, am I really enough to put on that belt? I hope you get the picture.
I am simply trying to pass on a legacy (actually a group of skill sets) that was passed to me, and that obviously upsets the influential members of the TSD Dojang.
Maybe you should take a closer look at and try checking some of the others who have shopped the market place for rank acquisition at all costs!
To your last statement:

I've humbled myself for many years, that's why you've never heard of me until now.
You want me to train hard? I've been doing this in many capacities for 51 years, I'm nearing 70 years old, you don't think I’ve trained hard. It doesn't get easier without training.
And teach, and contribute? Yeah, that's a good one.
Paraphrasing Sgro, "No one in the Dojang cares about Hong Chong Soo, Kukkiwon, etc."
Try to teach something, as an outsider, from outside of the clique, that does not jive with the clique narrative and see how well it is received.
Make a true, however painful statement, about a revered individual, even though true, and see the reaction of those whose feelings are hurt by it, and this is the result.
