Id like to take a moment to talk about seascape epoxy scenes. They’re dumb. Seriously. Why do we need to put an ocean scene on a cheap pine coffee table? Or a cutting board? Neither the end grain maple nor your nice Miyabi are gonna survive that disaster of a maker-chic fluff piece. I’ve only seen one that I liked, ever, and that was a full floor scene at a graphic design studio in a beach town. Because it made sense.

Still a lot more experimenting left to do, but it turns out doing one on a surf rod might just be pretty cool, too.
