🌟 Instructor Spotlight 🌟

Meet our Newest Instructor, Ms Alexis!

As a young child, Alexis completed Aqua Journeys Swim School’s survival swim program alongside her younger sisters. Ever since then, she has loved being in the water and has always had a passion for swimming.

In 2025, Alexis joined the Aqua Journeys team at the front desk before being given the opportunity to teach toddlers and children essential water safety skills. She believes every child deserves the chance to be safe and confident around the water and is passionate about helping families achieve that.

Outside of teaching, Alexis is a junior at Seabreeze High School. She has been a member of the weightlifting team since her freshman year and recently challenged herself by joining both the swim and track teams. Academically, she is a straight-A Honor Roll student who is dedicated to working hard both in and out of the classroom. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school with the goal of becoming a surgeon.

Alexis absolutely loves teaching and can’t wait to continue making a difference by helping even more children become safer and more confident in the water! 😊
