University of Maine Ski Team

Hi everyone! Tomorrow, Thursday 9/14, we will be having our first meeting at 5pm. It will be in the union at the tables right in front of the bears den. If you have any interest in joining our ski racing team here at the University of Maine we hope to see you there!

On Saturday, January 14 at Titcomb Mountain both the Men and Women Alpine teams came in second. For men Jeremy Leavitt came in 1st for the race and for women Marissa Roberts came in 3rd. Congrats to all the racers! Excited for what next weekend will bring!

This past weekend the UMaine Alpine Team raced with the Thompson Division. Out of the 12 teams competing at Sunday River this weekend the UMaine Women's Alpine Team came in 4th both days and the UMaine Men's Alpine Team came in 3rd both days. Congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend and thank you Sunday River and Mother Nature for great snow conditions!

The UMaine Alpine team will be competing this weekend at Sunday River. Saturday, January 7th will be a SL and Sunday, January 8th will be a GS. We would love to see you there!
