News from the Studio.....

It's time to dance! Dance classes started on Tuesday, September 8th. It was wonderful see new and returning students. There is still time to join a dance class, dance registrations are being taken through November.

The studio will be performing some of last season’s recital dances during Septemberfest from 3:00 to 3:30 pm this Saturday, September 12th on Main Street. Please be sure to come out and watch the dancers.

There is a Photo Release Form on the STUDIO NEWS page of the website. From time to time, Lynn’s Dance Studio takes photos of dancers for promotional materials. Photos may be used in brochures, advertisements, performance slide shows, as well as, for use on the website and Facebook. If you DO NOT want your dancer’s photo taken/used for any of the above, please inform Lynn’s Dance Studio by filling out the form returning it to your dancer’s teacher.

ORTONVILLE SEPTEMBERFEST 2026

The studio will be performing some of last year’s dances during Septemberfest from 3:00 to 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 12th on Main Street.

Dancers from the dances listed below are invited to participate; I will need you to sign up right away if you are going to be able to participate. You may send me a text(248-722-1809), e-mail([email protected]), or sign up at the studio.

If you are going to join us, there will be 2 rehearsals, 1 on Friday, September 11th from 6:45 – 8:30pm, and again on Saturday, September 12th from 2:00 - 2:45pm (just before we perform). We will also practice them during your regular class times (if possible).

We will need to have enough dancers signed up for each dance to be able to perform. This is always so much fun, and the dancers have a wonderful time! Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you.

If you're dancing, please arrive in your costume ready to dance on Saturday, September 12th. 😊

News from the Studio...

We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!!

Summer Camps go into August. There are still openings for Summer Choreography Workshop, Pom Camp, and Hip Hop Camp. Check the SUMMER CAMPS page on the website for more information.

The dance studio will have registration open houses for fall classes on: Tuesday, August 18th @ 5-8pm and Thursday, August 27th @ 5-8pm. Stop by to check out the studio, meet instructors, and sign-up for fall classes. You may also mail in your registration. Go to the CLASSES page to see the list of available classes and a link to the registration form.

T-shirts from the second order are available to pick-up at the dance studio on Wednesdays @ 5:30-9:00pm.

The distribution of the recital USB has been delayed due to illness of the videographer. Dates for pick-up will be posted as soon as it is available.
