✨HIRING Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accounting Position: 10 to 20 hours a week.✨

Metz Properties is a fast-paced real estate company specializing in apartment rentals. We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in QuickBooks to join our team.

Position Summary:
You will be responsible for maintaining financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a deep understanding of QuickBooks as it applies to property management and real estate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple rental properties.
- Record and reconcile payments, security deposits, and other income.
- Process accounts payable for vendors, contractors, and utilities.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and financial statements.
- Generate customized reports for owners, investors, and management as needed.
- Assist with year-end closeout, including 1099 preparation and tax documentation.
- Check writing and other basic QB tasks will not be required for this position.

Qualifications:
- Advanced experience in Quickbooks required.
- Proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets/Docs.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple properties/accounts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.

Compensation & Benefits:
- $25-$35 per hour depending on experience.
- This position can either be remote or from our Orwigsburg office.
