Ryder’s Big Day Propels OBA 12U Past Four Leaf 12u Allstars

Ryder L drove in six runs on two hits to lead OBA 12U past Four Leaf 12u Allstars 22-12 on Saturday. Ryder L hit a home run to center field in the third scoring three, doubled in the fourth scoring three, and walked in the first scoring two.
Bats blistered as OBA 12U collected nine hits and Four Leaf 12u Allstars tallied six in the high-scoring game.
Four Leaf 12u Allstars opened the scoring in the first after a wild pitch scored one run.
OBA 12U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on two hits to take the lead, 7-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Ryder L that drove in two.
OBA 12U added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kyler J singled down the right field line, Kaden F walked, Jameson B was struck by a pitch, Bo W singled, and Sawyer G walked, each scoring one run.
Four Leaf 12u Allstars scored five runs on three hits in the top of the third inning. Liam R doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Holden L doubled, scoring three runs.
OBA 12U added four more runs in the bottom of the third inning on two hits. Cameron K singled, scoring one run, and Ryder L homered to center field, scoring three runs.
OBA 12U scored six runs on two hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Camden S grounded out, scoring one run, Kyler J grounded out, scoring one run, Ryder L doubled, scoring three runs, and Kaden F doubled, scoring one run.
Sawyer G led things off on the hill for OBA 12U. The hurler surrendered two hits and four runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking four. Bo W, Jameson B, and Cameron K each appeared in relief for OBA 12U.
Bo W and Ryder L each collected two hits for OBA 12U. Cameron K led OBA 12U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 14 walks for the game.
Holden L led Four Leaf 12u Allstars with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Ryker Nines went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Four Leaf 12u Allstars in hits. Rowan N paced Four Leaf 12u Allstars with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game.
