ISC Wurtsmith's Shooting Range

Open to the public Friday - Sunday and Holidays. Closed Nov 15 through Winter, reopens in the Sprin Wurtsmith is a 51 acre shooting range "in process".
Thus far we have several ranges; 7 yds, 25 yds, 50 yds, 100 yds, and 300 yds. You must be a member to shoot on the 300 yd range. We also have a 600 yd range for NRA sanctioned matches. Practices on the 600 yd range are held every other week. Non-members are allowed to shoot at any scheduled matches. The Iosco Sportsmen's Club has begun our spring ritual of renewing membetships for the coming year. If you have recently changed your address and wish to remain a member, please update ypu address.
CS Esmond will be giving a demonstration and will feature a variety of suppressors at the Wurtsmith range on May 3, from Noon till 3pm. There will be hot dogs on the grill and refreshments. Attendance is free,
It you’re wondering why your gate code isn’t working……Time to renew your membership.
For all members who have not yet renewed their memberships. The gate codes will be changed on July 1.
The Iosco Sportmen's Club will be hosting a military veterans fun shoot at the Oscoda Wurtsmith range on Saturday, August 9. There will be Shotgun, Rifle and Pistol events. Participation is limited. You can register by going to the web site at Ioscosportsmen.com. Scroll down on the home page to 'What's Happening at the Club" and clicking anywhere on the paragraph "Military veterans fun shoot" which will take you to the registration page.
The 2024 Deer Rifle Sight In Days has been finalized. The Oscoda Wurtsmith range will be open from Friday, November 1st till Thursday November 14 from 9am to 5pm.
The Tawas Range will be Open on Saturday Nov2 and Sunday Nov 3 as well as Saturday Nov 9 to Thursday Nov 14 from 10am till 4pm. Hope to see you on the range.
Attention shotgunners: The Wurtsmith shotgun ranges will be open as follows.
S***t and 5-Stand, Saturday from 9am till noon
Trap, on Sundays from noon till 3pm

Sight in days are here again. Head on over to the Tawas or Oscoda range to get your rifle sighted in. Open every day, 9 to 5, thru Nov 14.
Please be advised the gate at the Wurtsmith Range is on manual for the winter.
