Starting on July 12th I will have one group fielding class that has up to 8 spots at 5:30 to 6:30 and a group hitting spot that has up to 4 spots from 6:30 to 7:30. If the demand for group lessons increases I will add more times and dates for them. Also there are still some individual hitting, fielding, and catching spots available. Hello all! I am Caitlin Reeves Woods- owner of Grit Up. I am the head coach of the Oskaloosa Indians softball team. I have been married to my husband Dale Woods for 5 years. We have a very spunky 3 year old daughter, Halen, and I have a wonderful bonus son, Jax. We moved to Oskaloosa in February of this year. I have been coaching softball for the past 7 years with my previous team being state runner up in 2019 and 2021 and winning the 3A State Championship in 2022 . I played college softball at Jackson State Community College and Martin Methodist. I was starting catcher all 4 years of my high school career, 3x all state catcher, with 4 state tournament appearances, getting state runner up in 2011 and being 2A State Champions in 2013. Starting next week I will have available times for hitting, fielding, and catching lessons at OISC. The link below shows my availability. Next week we will still be in season so my schedule will be a little more limited while we are still in season. Once season ends I will have a more consistent schedule. If you don’t see a time that works for you message me and we can try to work something out. I can’t give lessons to any of my current players 8th-12th grade.
