William Penn University has announced the appointment of Kenneth “Ken” Oliver as Executive Vice President for Advancement, effective July 2026.
Oliver brings more than 30 years of higher education leadership experience in advancement, fundraising, enrollment management, athletics, marketing, student affairs, and university operations. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Advancement & University Operations & Foundation Administrator at Kansas Wesleyan University.
A familiar face to the Penn community, Oliver previously served William Penn University in multiple leadership and coaching roles during the 1990s.

From questioning whether college football was the right fit to landing a leadership role in NCAA Division II athletics, A.J. Helgeson’s path at William Penn University took an unexpected turn and led to a passion for sports communication.
Now, the Statesmen graduate is headed to Mobile, Alabama, to begin his next chapter as Director of Sports Communication at Spring Hill College.
