Oswego Girls Varsity Hockey

Some of the 16U Lady Bucs proudly represented OMHA at the Northern Prospects Showcase in Malone this weekend, putting their talent, teamwork, and determination on full display. Skating alongside some of the top players from across the U.S. and Canada, the girls took full advantage of the opportunity to compete at a high level while showing off their skill, hockey IQ, and love for the game.

With players traveling in from all over North America, the event also featured a strong coaching presence, including staff from about a dozen different colleges. Among them was Mark Digby, head coach of SUNY Oswego, adding even more value and exposure for the athletes participating. Nice job girls!

🥍Athlete of the Week: Presented by Colloca Estate Winery 🥍

Meet Hailey Workman, a senior for the Mexico girls lacrosse team. Hailey entered the week with 26 goals and 4 assists, leading Mexico to a 4-1 record for its best five-game start since 2013. She ranks 11th in Section III for goals and scored the 100th goal of her four-year varsity career earlier this season. Hailey was also a captain for the Oswego girls hockey team.
