Majors Game UPDATE:

The Elks/Firefighter game scheduled for tomorrow at 9:30 has been moved to Tuesday at 6 at Legends.

The 12:30 and 2:30 double header of Boscos and K of C are the only games Saturday.

Fire Fighters Win in fashion, Walk it off Versus Police

It came down to the wire on Wednesday at the Fort, as Fire Fighters grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 8-7, in 9 innings over Police. The game was tied at seven in the bottom of the ninth when Aydrean Fera doubled, scoring one run.
Fire Fighters rallied for the victory despite trailing 6-0 in the fourth.

Police got on the board in the top of the first inning after Braxtyn Smith doubled down the left field line, scoring 2.

A walk by Rocco Scanlon extended the police lead to 3-0 in the top of the second inning.
Fire Fighters tied the game in the bottom of the 6th thanks to a fielder's choice by Camden Meyer, A walk by Reed O'Neil, a single by Owen Bartholomew, and a wild pitch.

A single by Kenny Hobart gave Police the lead, 7-6, in the top of the 8th.

Macsen Murray Walked, which helped Fire Fighters tie the game at 7 in the bottom of the 8th.

Bartholomew earned the win for Fire Fighters. The reliever surrendered no hits and no runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking none. Braxtyn Smith took the loss for Police. The hurler went three and one-third innings, giving up two runs on three hits, striking out 9 and walking 4. Aydrean Fera started on the Hill for Fire Fighters. The starter surrendered 7 hits and 6 runs (3 earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out 6 and walking 2.
Izayah Perez stepped on the mound first for Police. The pitcher allowed one hit and two runs over 5 innings, striking out 11 and walking 2. Murray tossed three innings of scoreless ball for Fire Fighters in relief. Murray surrendered 1 hit, striking out 4 and walking 4.

Meyer provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Fire Fighters with 2 RBI's. The infielder went 1-4 on the Day and played excellent Defense up the middle turning a double play to kill a rally.

Fera, Meyer, Grayson Pecore, And Bartholomew each had 1 hit for Fire Fighters. Rocco Portelli led Fire Fighters with 3 walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating 9 walks for the game. Pecore stole two bases.

Rylan Wilson’s Big Day Propels Elks Past Boscos

Rylan Wilson drove in four runs on three hits to lead Elks past Boscos 8-3 on Tuesday at Lagoe. Wilson hit a solo home run to center field in the 1st inning, scoring one, a Double in the 4th inning, later scoring on a wild pitch, and a 3 RBI Single in the 5th inning

Boscos were the first to get on the board in the first when Zack Colosurdo singled, scoring one run.

Wilson homered to center field, which helped Elks tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Elks took the lead in the bottom of the second when Jullian Stroman scored after walking and later advancing on an error to give Elks the leg up, 2-1.

Zack Colosurdo singled down the left field line, which helped Boscos tie the game at two in the top of the third.

A single by Jason Carr gave Elks the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the fourth.

Elks scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, led by a Wilson single, scoring three runs.

Wilson earned the win for Elks. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run over two and one-third innings, striking out five and walking none. Luca Cruz started on the bump first for Elks. The righty allowed five hits and two runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking three. Logan DeWolf started on the mound for Boscos. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and five runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking four.

Jason Carr collected two hits for Elks in two at bats.

Christian Waters and Zack Colosurdo were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Boscos. Zack went 3-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in.

Boscos Breeze Past Fire Fighters

Boscos easily dispatched Fire Fighters on Thursday at Lagoe Field, 15-3.

Boscos got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Danny Mulcahey singled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

Fire Fighters tied the game in the top of the second thanks to a walk by Hunter Gleason, a walk by Benjamin Putnam, and a steal of home by Reed O’neil.

Boscos captured the lead, 7-3, in the bottom of the second when Christian Waters doubled, scoring one run, Zack Colasurdo singled, scoring two runs, and Logan Dewolf tripled, scoring one run.

Boscos added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Murphy Webb drew a walk, scoring one run, Colton Stevens singled, scoring one run, and Easton Stevens singled, scoring two runs.

Dewolf pitched three innings in relief for Boscos. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs while striking out eight and walking none. Luke Frost started on the mound for Boscos. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and three runs over two innings, striking out three and walking five. Grayson Pecore opened the game for Fire Fighters. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and three runs over one inning, striking out one and walking three.

Boscos piled up 11 hits in the game. Dewolf, C. Stevens, and E. Stevens each collected two hits for Boscos. Colasurdo, Mulcahey, and E. Stevens each drove in two runs for Boscos. Frost led Boscos with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 12 walks for the game. Liam Gibson, Dewolf, Frost, Colasurdo, and Mulcahey each stole multiple bases for Boscos. Boscos ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 17 stolen bases for the game.

Putnam and Gleason were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Fire Fighters. Tyson Brietbeck, Aydrean Fera, Camden Meyer, and Pecore each collected one hit for Fire Fighters. Meyer stole two bases.

Macsen Murray drove in five runs on two hits to lead Fire Fighters Past K of C 13-3 on Wednesday at the Fort. Murray doubled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the 5th inning, scoring two.

Murray Started things off strong for Fire Fighters as he and Aydrean Fera Combined for a No-hitter.
Fire Fighters got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning after Reed O'Neil drew a walk, scoring one run, Rocco Portelli drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Camden Meyer Singled, scoring two runs, Murray Doubled, scoring two runs.

Murray earned the win for Fire Fighters. Striking out 7 in 3.2 innings pitched allowing 3 runs on no hits. Fera came in to earn the save going 2.1 innings allowing zero runs.

Meyer and Murray were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Fire Fighters while hitting back to back. Portelli led Fire Fighters with 3 walks. Over all the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 9 walks for the game. Meyer, Grayson Pecore, Owen Bartholomew, Portelli, and O'Neil each stole multiple bases for Fire Fighters. Fire Fighters ran wild on the base paths, piling up 14 stolen bases for the game.

Joey Knopp drove in a run for K of C. Sofia Burdick led K of C with two walks to go along with 2 stolen bases.

Pitchers Duel Sees Luca Cruz Lift Elks Past Police

Luca Cruz was dominant on the bump, as the pitcher rang up 11 strikeouts in Elks's 3-1 victory over Oswego Police on Tuesday at Lagoe Field. Cruz allowed one hit and one run over six innings while walking none.

Both teams were strong on the mound. Kenny Hobart began the game for Oswego Police. The pitcher allowed three hits and three runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six. Izayah Perez appeared in relief, facing two batters, walking one and striking out one.

Elks opened the scoring in the first after Jason Carr grounded out, scoring one run.
Elks added one run in the second after Jax Miller hit into a fielder's choice.

Lillian Morse, Luca Cruz, and Caleb Murray each collected one hit for Elks. Jax Miller, Jason Carr, and Deacon Wiebel each drove in one run for Elks.

Izayah Perez led Oswego Police with one hit in two at bats. Dominic Scanlon scored the lone run for Police after being struck by a pitch.

Christian Waters Puts On Strong Contact Performance As Boscos Take The Win Over Oswego Police

Christian Waters collected three hits in three at bats, as Boscos defeated Oswego Police 13-3 on Thursday at Lagoe Field. He hit an inside the park home run in the third inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

Logan Dewolf struck out 12 batters on the day. The hurler allowed four hits and three runs over four and two-thirds innings while walking two.

Boscos opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two steals of home.

Oswego Police tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a single by Cooper Flett, and a steal of home by Bennett Jones.

Boscos flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 8-2. The biggest blow in the inning was an inside the park home run by Waters that drove in three.

Izayah Perez stepped on the hill first for Oswego Police. The pitcher allowed five hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out seven and walking four. Waters tossed one and one-third innings of no-run ball for Boscos in relief. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits, striking out two and walking none.

Boscos collected 13 hits in the game. Dewolf, Anthony Baker, and Murphy Webb each collected multiple hits for Boscos. Boscos had a strong eye at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Noah Dawson and Zack Colasurdo led the team with two free passes each. Waters, Dewolf, Luke Frost, Mason Moore, Dawson, and Colasurdo each stole multiple bases for Boscos. Boscos stole 26 bases in the game.

Flett and Eli Koskowski were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Oswego Police. Flett, Kenny Hobart, Perez, and Koskowski each collected one hit for Oswego Police. Kenny Hobart, Quentin Hobart, Jones, and Perez each stole multiple bases for Oswego Police. Oswego Police stole eight bases in the game.
