Second Chance Sportfishing

Today the boys had an early morning start and had a blast fishing with friends / like family, chasing browns in the brown trout tournament. 8/9 on a tough day of fishing but made the best of it. The boys had fun and we made memories. We did our best to get them on the board for the kids division.

Last minute decision to get wet a week early. The Saturday morning splash started out with my own mistake putting us about 1/2 hr behind schedule, a winter gremlin that reared its ugly head as we headed down the little salmon river to the shoot that cleared itself up prior to entering the big pond. Shake down trip with these boys kept me at even keel Mike Alba John Vishnefski Mike Barna. Second Chance performed flawless after a late start and going 1/4. Final rest in her slip for the summer. She’s a fishy rig. See you all on the water.

They say your happiest day of being a boat owner is the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Well today we shipped the Tiara 2700 Pursuit down the road. We were a tad sad because she was good to us, a fishing machine and handled big water with the best of em. Our happiness again took over knowing that Second Chance Sportfishing will be back for the 2026 season only with a different look in the Tiara 3100. Stay Safe Lake Family!

Made a decision to go try and play for Kings this morning instead of browns. Put a plan and program together and BOOM. May Kings!!! Hayley did great on the rods, then the wind shifted from NW to N and Lady O got angry. Pulled gear and took a bumpy ride in.

Today out of Oz was a slower bite than past few days. Friday evening was uneventful for the few hours spent on the water. Today set up at 0540 hoping it would be on fire. Good colored water but lots of bait to contend with. Managed to boat 2 and one surely made the slow pick worth it.
